Nominations for 2026 Golden Ticket Awards

In addition to the multiple core categories of the Golden Ticket Awards, a group of specific awards will reflect advancements in the industry. Industry categories are now open for nominations. Individuals or companies can spotlight achievements in these categories.  Nominations must be received by June 30, 2026.

Nominations are being accepted for:

Best Innovation of 2026
Nominations may be made for a new product, process or system that shows improvement or benefit to some aspect of the amusement industry in terms of guest safety, enhanced guest experience or creativity. This can apply to a park or company. Any nomination must be in practice by June 30, 2026. (Nominate here)

Leadership Award
Nominations for Leadership can be made for individuals or a park, company or group that has demonstrated exemplary leadership in the last year. Nominations should be written in third person with no name at the end. An emphasis should be placed on the attributes and the successes brought about by the results of positive leadership. Best New Show of 2026
To nominate a new performance for Best New Show of 2024, the show must be completely new since the Golden Ticket Awards were given last September (not just a new cast). Nominations must be received by June 30. So that the judging panel can review each entry, a video of the new show must be uploaded for viewing by July 1. Instructions for upload will be sent after nomination is received. (Nominate here)

Standout FEC of 2026
This category recognizes family entertainment centers who have expanded, made improvements or implemented marketing strategies that have resulted in increased attendance. (Nominate here)

Best New Attraction Installation for 2026
Nominations may be made for any new attraction that has opened since the Golden Ticket Awards were given in September 2025. Any new installation must be in operation by July 1, 2026. Nominations should emphasize the distinct attributes of a ride — innovation, capacity, creativity, marketability, theming, etc. — as well as the impact the new attraction will make on its host facility or the industry.
