The Golden Ticket Awards weekend kicks off first thing the morning of Friday, September 11, with many industry friends enjoying an “only slightly” competitive annual golf tournament. For the fourth year, the COASTIN’ ON THE COURSE charity golf tournament event will raise funds for the National Roller Coaster Museum and Archives.
“This event has quickly established itself as one of the highlights on the attraction industry’s social calendar,” said Melissa Bamford, volunteer coordinator of the annual tournament. “It is a fantastic way to support an incredible cause that is near and dear to all of us: our own history.”
The annual golf tournament will reconvenes in 2026 in Austin, Texas as the Golden Ticket Awards visit both Kalahari Resort and COTALAND. The event will feature an 8 a.m. shotgun start! TOURNAMENT REGSITRATION OPENING SOON!

The National Roller Coaster Museum and Archives (NRCMA) announced that more than $5,000 was raised at the 2025 edition of the annual Golden Ticket Awards Golf Tournament … and coordinators hope to surpass this total with the 2026 edition!
