8 a.m. – GTA Golf Event benefitting the National Roller Coaster Museum.
…8 a.m. tee time is scheduled at the Westwood Golf Club, 825 Commonwealth Ave. West Mifflin, Pa. 15122. Scramble format, $150 per player (includes golf cart), proceeds to benefit the NRCMA. Club rentals are limited to 15 sets and golfer must make their own arrangements. Lunch in Clubhouse following play.

9 a.m-5 p.m.: Golden Ticket Awards badge pick-up & check-in is open at the Fayette Room at The Westin Hotel
Throughout the day, attendees are encouraged to explore downtown Pittsburgh sites & attractions at their leisure!
6:00 p.m.: Transportation departs Westin Pittsburgh for opening reception at Sandcastle Waterpark.
6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.: Opening Night Reception with dinner, drinks and fun at Sandcastle Waterpark. Attendees will have bus transportation for the reception which will depart from Westin Pittsburgh.
9:30 p.m.: Transportation departs Sandcastle Waterpark for return to Westin Pittsburgh.
9 a.m-12 p.m.: Golden Ticket Awards Registration badge pick-up and check-in is open at the Fayette Room at The Westin Hotel
9:30 a.m: Transportation departs The Westin Hotel for Kennywood

10 a.m.: Kennywood Park Walking History Tour (hosted by surprise former Kennywood Park Legend)
10 a.m.: Wood Coaster Preservation/Track Maintenance at Carpenter’s Shop (hosted by Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters)
10 a.m.: Kennywood Park Security and Weapons Detection with AI (hosted by: EVOLV) **PLEASE NOTE: This Security/Detection Tour is restricted to Park Owners. General Managers, park management, and security personnel ONLY!
11 a.m. – 8 p.m.: GTA attendees are encouraged to enjoy Kennywood Park and the use of the park’s Speedy Pass, courtesy of Accesso. GTA busses will be active throughout the day to shuttle GTA attendees who do not wish to drive between the Westin Pittsburgh and Kennywood.
4 p.m.: Golden Ticket Awards preview cocktail reception (near Kennywood Pavilion #8, behind The Old Mill)
5 p.m.: Golden Ticket Awards dinner (Kennywood Pavillion #5)
6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.: The 2024 Golden Ticket Awards Dinner and Ceremony, (Kennywood Pavillion #5)
8:30 -11 p.m. Celebrate the Golden Ticket Award winners with this Private After Hours Party at Kennywood. Attendees will enjoy food, desserts, drinks, entertainment and rides.
Attendees can visit Kennywood Park, Idlewild Park, The Heinz History Center and the Pittsburgh Zoo for FREE with their GTA lanyard or take in the many other sites and attractions in Pittsburgh!
For those wishing to catch a MLB baseball game, the Pittsburgh Pirates host the Washington Nationals on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 1:35 p.m.
